Cummington property sales show wide price gap as most deeds skip disclosed price
Cummington recorded 11 property deeds between July 3 and Aug. 1, but only three disclosed a sale price. Those three ranged from $40,000 to $140,000, with a median of $89,215. The month's top disclosed sale was 162 Nash Rd. at $140,000, sold July 31 to CMG Mortgage Inc. and CMG Home Loans. Bryant Road had two recorded transfers, and several other transactions involved banks, trusts, or non-sale filings such as homestead declarations and an easement agreement. With eight of 11 transactions carrying no price data, this month's figures offer only a partial picture of local property values.
