Cummington Records Ten Property Deeds but Only One Discloses a Sale Price
Ten property deeds were recorded in Cummington between Aug. 14 and Sept. 12, but only one, the Aug. 17 sale of 47 Main St. for $30,000 to Florence Bank, disclosed a sale price. That single transaction stands as both the period's low and high recorded price. Porter Hill Road saw three separate recorded transfers, and the town of Cummington acquired two properties, at 0 Mount Rd. and 0 Porter Hill Rd. Four deeds involved a bank or mortgage entity as grantor or grantee, and two recorded declarations of homestead rather than ownership transfers. With price data largely undisclosed, the records do not support a read on market direction.
