Cummington Sales Range Widely as Most Prices Go Undisclosed
Nine property transfers were recorded in Cummington from July 24 to Aug. 22, but only three disclosed a sale price, ranging from $30,000 to $265,000 with a median of $226,575. The period's top disclosed sale was 21 Dodwells Rd. at $265,000; the lowest was 47 Main St. at $30,000. Porter Hill Road saw three separate recordings, more than any other street, though none disclosed a price. Financial institutions, including MERS, Rocket Mortgage and several local banks and credit unions, appeared as buyer or seller in the majority of transfers, and with most prices undisclosed, the broader market tone from this data set alone is inconclusive.
