Cummington sees eight deeds recorded as month's sales top out at $265,000
Hampshire County records show eight property transfers recorded in Cummington between July 17 and August 15. Only three carried a disclosed sale price, ranging from $40,000 to $265,000, with a median of $140,000. The period's top disclosed sale was 21 Dodwells Road at $265,000, sold by Robert W. Jensen. Porter Hill Road saw two recorded transactions, including one transfer to the town of Cummington. Five of the eight transactions involved a mortgage company, lender or bank as buyer or seller, and did not list a sale price.
