Cummington Sale Prices Remain Unposted as Five Properties Change Hands
Cummington recorded nine deed filings from Aug. 28 to Sept. 26, but only five represented property changing ownership: 42 Lilac Ave, 83 Porter Hill Road, 36 Powell Road, 0 Mount Road and 21 Dodwells Road. Sale prices for all five were not yet available from the Hampshire County Registry of Deeds, so no price range or median can be reported this period. Two transfers moved property out of bank ownership (Florence Bank and Greenfield Cooperative Bank), and a third came from Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems Inc. The town of Cummington also acquired a Mount Road parcel. The remaining four filings were administrative documents, not sales.
